Post Production

Explain how your post production skills have developed over time and how has this contributed to your media production outcomes. Post production are all the stages which come after you have produced your product. Premiere At AS we began learning how to edit on Premiere, we first used this software when we did the dancing animals task. This task was just about us putting footage onto premiere and then editing it to ensure that there were no black spaces in between each clip. We then did a task called Juno, for this we had to copy the footage from the opening scene of the film, therefore we had to do a split screen so we had the original footage and then our footage. We learnt how to use certain effects such as the cartoon effect called scratch. We then created our own film opening called On Track, we got our footage for this and we then uploaded it onto Premiere Pro. Explain how your skills in the creative use of digital technology developed over time. - Refer to a range of examples from your media productions in your answer. Digital technologies have had a huge influence on media production over the last few years and since I started in year 12, I have learnt a massive amount about how to use them and also the benefits of using them. They have had a big impact on the quality of our finished products. Internet:  This is where we can access blogger so that all of our coursework is available to us. For the coursework tasks, we used the internet to research and gather all of the information that we needed. We used the blog to create blog posts on where we are at with our music video, what planning and research we have created.
